Web 2.0 Thoughts

I believe that the video is saying that we are using the machine, and the machine is using us. It was a little confusing. It was saying that we are the machine because we create it and teach it. It is us.
First, someone who is entering the work force needs to know the machine. The machine leaves him open to everyone and endless amounts of information at his fingertips. Someone entering the workforce needs to be careful that he does not expose himself to curious co-workers or bosses. He also needs to realize that this vast amount of information is his to use to his advantage.
As far as people already in the workforce, they should use it to their advantage and use this cornicopia of information to better their situation.
We will have to rethink how we do things. With information out there for everyone to see, and possibly tamper with, we will have to be careful. Information that reveals someones identity and finances, must be kept safe. As for copyrighted information; it should be well protected and penalties should be enforced. As information becomes more and more fluid, we should be ready to help protect ourselves against the machine.

Bio Of Ben

My name is Ben, I am from the town of Anderson, Sc. I went to a christian school up until middle school. After middle school I attended T. L. Hanna High. I graduated from T. L. in 2004 and decided that my best option was to go to Tri-County Tech. From the beginning I knew I wanted to go to Clemson University, so I buckled down at Tech and got the grades I needed to get to Clemson. Once I was accepted to Clemson, I figured that Agricultural Mechanization was the best major for me. As of now I am a Junior, and I am on my way to graduating with a major in Agricultural Mechanization, and a minor in Business Administration.
Besides school, I like to hunt, fish, watch Clemson play, and hang out with my friends. I hope to graduate Clemson, and go make a bunch of money. I figure if I go out and make a ton of money then I will be able to do all of the above as much as I want. No, but seriously I believe I am on my way to graduating and starting a career.
